Thanksgiving, Round 2 - Nov. 26 (Sat.)

We had Owen's family here for our second Thanksgiving (the boys' fourth). Heather helped make the mashed potatoes, Matthew made the stuffing and rolls, Nicholas helped out with miscelaneous things, Anne made the gravy, and Owen was in charge of the turkey. We had tons of food and had many leftover, of course. :) Some of the photos didn't turn out, but here are some.

Thanksgiving, Round 1 - Nov. 25 (Fri.)

We had our Thanksgiving at my parents' house on Friday like usual. The boys have already had two Thanksgiving dinners so this was their third! :) Mark and Kelly and the kids came down and Brynna joined us as well. Heather had to work at the last minute but came after work. We had a delicious dinner and wonderful pies for dessert.

We even got all 4 dogs. Papa and Kelly didn't get in the photos. :(

Matthew's Beard - Nov. 23

Matthew participated in No Shave November for the first time. Today though, he decided to shave it off for the first of his four Thanksgiving celebrations. I also brought home some Krispy Kremes...just because.

Then he decided to try stripes. :)

We woke up to a beautiful, sunny, frosty morning.

Hands - Nov. 19

I would guess the reason no one is looking at my blog might be related to the fact that I haven't posted anything in a while. These are two photos Matthew took for his photo class assignment for "hands". He came into my classroom to do it. :)

My New Space - Nov. 12

I have a new reading space up in my room. I found a great recliner/rocker at Fred Meyer and also got a new lamp. We moved a bookcase and changed the picture on the wall. The cats like it as much as I do!

New Truck - Nov. 8

Owen has been wanting a truck for quite a while. We drove one a few weeks ago but I didn't like how it drove. I will be driving it most of the time since Owen drives the Corolla 100 miles each day and Matthew is driving my car. Dan called over the weekend to let us know a customer traded in a Tacoma with low miles and in great shape. We went out Tuesday to take a look and ended up trading in the Chrysler on the spot. I really love the look of the truck and the way it drives. It's a 2006 and only has 28,700 miles on it. The boys won't fit in the back very well, but we can still drive the Highlander if all of us go someplace together.

You can see two of our other Toyotas here...now all of our vehicles are Toyotas.
