Hello Again!

I haven't blogged since 2014. I was a bit worried that my blog may have disappeared, but it's still here! I love looking at all the old photos so maybe if I add one or two, I can get on a roll and continue.

So this is my new car. It is getting some finishing touches on it and we will be able to pick it up tomorrow or early next week. I can't wait! It's a '66 Mustang with emberglo paint and pony interior. Love, love, love!

Handmade Cards - April 16

I am home sick with a sore throat and no voice. I was asked to make a thank-you card for a former librarian who helps us out a lot, thanks to Judy who said I was good at creating things with paper. :)) These are 3 that I made. I will take them to our library meeting tomorrow and see which one they want to use, and keep the others for another time. It was fun getting back into my paper stash!

Thanksgiving

We went to Mama and Papa's for Thanksgiving on Friday, then had Thanksgiving here with Owen's side of the family.

Breakfast Out - Nov 16

We went to breakfast with Chris and Vicki at Little Jerry's in the Fern Hill area. It is a tiny place with just a few tables full of Seinfeld memorabilia and Seinfeld episodes playing on a TV. This was Owen's breakfast. We think it was called "The Kramerica" but we can't see it on the online menu. I had "The Good Samaritan" and it was delicious!

Conference - Oct 17-19

I got to go to Yakima for the library conference. I had a great time, but seem to have lost most of my photos from Sept/Oct. I have this one of the church outside my hotel room. I stayed at the Red Lion which is right next door to the conference hall. I ended up just two rooms away from Jody and Rachel. I went to a lot of great workshops, had lunch and dinner with people from Tacoma, and met Lesley who was the librarian at Fawcett before me. We had beautiful weather (cold in the morning, but so sunny and warm in the afternoon), a beautiful drive over, and a real nice time all together. I definitely want to go back next year!

Decorating the Library - Oct 16

I started in the library on Oct. 1st. Mary kept my sub for 2 days while I tried to move in, organize, make library cards for the kids, and plan. After a couple of weeks, I finally got my owl and tree up which makes me happy.

Double Rainbow - Sept 22

On our way to Mama and Papa's this evening, we saw a double rainbow. We didn't stop, but took photos through the windshield. It was all over FB...lots of people saw it.
