All About the Room - Sept. 5

Life has been all about the classroom for the last couple of weeks. My room started out looking like this:

And with Matthew's help getting the piano moved and chairs off the counter, I now have a green, semi-owl-themed room.

My piano is now back where it belongs.

This is about the same view as the top photo.

And here is my new Boggle board. The letters have magnets that stick to the side of my file cabinet. The kids have a worksheet where they can copy down the letters into a grid, then list their words and the points they are worth. The kids are excited to get started with that word game. The first day went pretty well. Three of my 20 kids did not show up, but at least one is expected to be there. I'm not sure if we'll have enough students to continue the 3/4 split, but I hope we do.
